Semanovo / Language & shared meaning

Give shared meaning a structure.

Semanovo explores a language whose relationships and definitions can be made explicit. Semanovo Studio brings written translation, learning, review, and vocabulary creation into one workspace.

The product idea

Make meaning explicit.

The studio translates human text and supported documents into Semanovo, and Semanovo documents back into a chosen human language. Grammar validation, translation review, and vocabulary stewardship address different parts of understanding what a passage means.

Inside the platform

01

Translate and review

Text and supported document uploads move through extraction, translation, editable revisions, and export. Source alignment and visible review obligations help users inspect a result and preserve its context.

02

Learn the language

A grammar reference, dictionary, and 100 worked examples explain the written system. A bounded English grammar can translate supported clauses locally; broader translation uses a configured AI provider and remains experimental.

03

Build vocabulary together

Word Workshop supports private drafts, explicit definitions, examples, communities, appointed reviewers, and revision history. Credits and dependencies remain attached as people extend a word’s meaning.

The Crossform connection

What this work brings
to the next problem.

Semanovo makes a recurring software problem tangible: people and machines need to know what a term means, which interpretation is being used, and who can change it. Those questions also matter in business data, AI context, and interfaces between systems.

Where it stands

Semanovo is accessible at semanovo.com. General translation is experimental, proposed dictionary entries still require review, and grammar validity alone does not establish translation fidelity or factual truth. Audio belongs to a later release.

The person behind the platform

How this platform
was made.

Semanovo was created and is directed by Philip Regenie. Its architecture connects explicit definitions, reusable word roots, and shared vocabulary so that new words can preserve the meaning and relationships behind them.

AI assistance supports implementation. Philip brings the product direction, knowledge across disciplines, architectural decisions, and review of the result.
